MAISIE wins Best Documentary in Dublin 2022

We are delighted to be voted Best Documentary by the Dublin Film Critics Circle at Dublin International Film Festival 2022. Our Director Lee Cooper collected the award on behalf of the MAISIE team at a great event at Dublin’s Lighthouse Cinema.

 
 

MAISIE wins Audience Vote at Brighton CINECITY 2021

After a sell-out screening at Duke of York’s Picturehouse, MAISIE won the Audience Vote amongst a stellar line-up of films including Celine Sciamma’s sublime PETITE MAMAN and the gripping LAMB.

MAISIE a favourite in Sheffield DocFest Audience Vote

We are thrilled to announce that after a successful debut at Sheffield DocFest 2021, MAISIE came second in the Audience Vote. 191 films from around the world were screened over the course of 10 days at this years event.

MAISIE receives support from BFI

We are excited to announce that MAISIE is officially supported by the BFI Doc Society and joins their stable of amazing films. An intimate portrait of ageing and friendship, MAISIE follows Mr. David Raven as he prepares for his 85th birthday as ‘Maisie Trollette’, Britain’s Oldest Performing Drag Artiste.

Due for completion in Spring 2021, MAISIE is the debut feature of Lee Cooper as Director. Produced by Deborah Aston.

SUNBURN, our psychological thriller set in Spain, is now available to watch online. With Sales by Moviehouse and Distribution by Alarm Pictures, SUNBURN is the first feature from Director Anthony Alleyne and Producer Lee Cooper.
